Good morning beloved daughters of our Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God for his grace, love and mercy upon each and everyone of us. Actually I wanted the last message I shared last week to be the last for the year. However, I just sensed something was missing. I honestly did not have a message or topic until 00:36 am this morning. The only thing I knew was that we would be taking Holy communion and this was because God had ministered to my sister Bukola Olumofin (thank you for obeying the Holy Spirit) who shared this with me and I also sensed it in my spirit that we should. Please get your bread and wine ready before you proceed.
Beloved daughters there is nothing left for us to say or do in 2017 than to thank the Lord. Even if we do not yet have all we have prayed for from the beginning of the year. A day is not enough because for each day you are on planet earth, each moment you have been given an opportunity and you must thank the Lord Almighty- From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised. -Psalms 113:3. If all the hairs on my head were tongues it is still not enough to praise him.
Perhaps you feel what is there to be thankful for, so many unanswered prayers etc, but beloved know that you have been given breathe for a reason, you have hope only those who are gone are hopeless- Let everything which has breath give praise to the Lord. Let the Lord be praised. -Psalms 150:6
As I prayed last night the Holy Spirit drop Psalm 103 in my spirit and I want everyone to take each verse and pray with it. I have copied out the Basic In Basic English version (BBE) for everyone to pray with below:
Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let everything in me give praise to his holy name. -Psalms 103:1
Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let not all his blessings go from your memory. -Psalms 103:2
He has forgiveness for all your sins; he takes away all your diseases; -Psalms 103:3
He keeps back your life from destruction, crowning you with mercy and grace. -Psalms 103:4
He makes your mouth full of good things, so that your strength is made new again like the eagle’s. -Psalms 103:5
The Lord gives decisions in righteousness for all who are in trouble. -Psalms 103:6
He gave knowledge of his way to Moses, and made his acts clear to the children of Israel. -Psalms 103:7
The Lord is kind and full of pity, not quickly made angry, but ever ready to have mercy. -Psalms 103:8
His feeling will no longer be bitter; he will not keep his wrath for ever. -Psalms 103:9
He has not given us the punishment for our sins, or the reward of our wrongdoing. -Psalms 103:10
For as the heaven is high over the earth, so great is his mercy to his worshippers. -Psalms 103:11
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he put our sins from us. -Psalms 103:12
As a father has pity on his children, so the Lord has pity on his worshippers. -Psalms 103:13
For he has knowledge of our feeble frame; he sees that we are only dust. -Psalms 103:14
As for man, his days are as grass: his beautiful growth is like the flower of the field. -Psalms 103:15
The wind goes over it and it is gone; and its place sees it no longer. -Psalms 103:16
But the mercy of the Lord is eternal for his worshippers, and their children’s children will see his righteousness; -Psalms 103:17
If they keep his agreement, and have his laws in mind to do them. -Psalms 103:18
The Lord has made ready his high seat in the heavens; his kingdom is ruling over all. -Psalms 103:19
Give praise to the Lord, you his angels, who are great in strength, doing his orders, and waiting for his voice. -Psalms 103:20
Give praise to the Lord, all you his armies; and you his servants who do his pleasure. -Psalms 103:21
Give praise to the Lord, all his works, in all places under his rule: give praise to the Lord, O my soul. -Psalms 103:22
Give him 21 Hallelujahs
Holding the bread in your hands, give thanks and bless the bread in the name of God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit- then eat of the body of Jesus- And when they were taking food, Jesus took bread and, after blessing it, he gave the broken bread to the disciples and said, Take it; this is my body. -Matthew 26:26
Lift up your cup, give thanks and bless the wine and drink the blood of Jesus- Take of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is given for men for the forgiveness of sins. -Matthew 26:28
Then pray as led…. May the Lord of host, our king of kings and the father of our Lord Jesus Christ hear us as we call upon him today and always.
Last but not the list I want to thank you all for the continuous support through the years. Thank you for your time, encouragement and generous donations to our outreach projects. I am thankful for each and everyone of you. May God make all your dreams a reality and bless the works of your hands. We will be sending our donations to the two charities Dreamcatchers (also Nurture my future) and JOA initiative on the 22nd of December, 2017. You are still welcome to make your contributions.
Say the Grace…..
Have a very happy Christmas and the Lord of host has gone ahead of us in 2018. Shalom sisters. I love love you all.
